  1. You've been lifting for almost a year now, and have been researching gear for a few months, and you think that you're about ready to run a cycle? I have to do my duty and let you know that you are a poorly informed fellow. I don't by any means believe that everyone must wait until a certain age to run gear, or max out their natural gains before running a cycle (though I would recommend this if you really wanted to push your body as far as it could go), but I do believe that you should have a great deal of experience with your lifting, nutrition, et cetera. There is an aptitude that goes along with training for years without taking time off that allows you to know what works for your body, without this, you don't know how to grow naturally, and lets be honest here, if you inject yourself enough you can jerk off with a firm grip and put some size onto your forearm. What that means for you is that you'll never be clued into what works for you, when you cycle off you'll lose your size because you won't know how to adapt, you won't know how to adjust your training, you won't know how to eat, and you damn sure won't have the willpower to force yourself to go to the gym when you're in the throes of PCT, feeling like your joints are dried the fuck out, sandpapery, your whole body aches, and you feel depressed as fuck.

Let me tell you, I was lifting for around eight years before I cycled, five very seriously. I had done a lot of research on endocrinology, steroids, HTPA axis, et cetera, for YEARS before I even considered running my first cycle. I was younger than you when I started but I was surely better prepared for what I was getting myself into, and now I'm at 6' 205-218 at single digit body fat. I would urge you to reconsider your hasty decision to run a cycle, though as a young man myself I understand that when you've made your mind up about something that you're generally going to do it whether you should or not. I'll let other members address what you've posted as far as your cycle is concerned but only if they feel they should and I have a feeling most will share my opinion.

  2. Save yourself the cash and buy a french press or a chemex, get some single origin beans from a local shop and prepare to never want to drink starbucks again. I drink coffee like its water when I'm not using PWOs. Chemex is by far the best way to brew coffee, brings out great flavors in the beans.

  3. You definitely need to eat more food if you want to get to 240. Not to sound like a dick or anything, but it doesn't sound like you're too aware of what you're eating as far as macros and calories go. You need to pay attention to that, when it comes to gaining weight at such an increased level that stuff is very important, just as it is when you're trying to cut below 8%.

If you want help on macros I suggest looking up MyFitnessPal on you smartphone as its a super easy way to track them. You will want to be taking in a lot of carbs and protein.

  4. Presidential cut steak just sounds like a marketing ploy, never heard of it myself. I will say that you're probably better off getting it from the Farmer's market as it'll be fresher, you'll be helping out your local economy, and the meat from Albertson's just generally isn't that good.

  5. I think it's based on where you're at in your life. I'm in my early twenties, much too young to simply never come off like a lot of the older guys do. When I'm older and my natural test comes crashing down I'll be running a blast and cruise protocol as well. I take the length of the cycle, and PCT off before running another cycle. I've managed to keep the vast majority of my muscle mass in between cycle even though by my estimate I'm pretty far beyond my natural potential. I've had blood work done, after I've come off and my test has stabilized and found that my test is returning to its prior measure without fail. That isn't the case for some guys and that's also another reason why some guys chose blasting and cruising.

  6. EQ is great. It adds very lean quality muscle. The longer you run it the better it is, I hear most people recommend for experienced users 15+ week cycles of EQ. I've only ever run it for around 12 and I was never disappointed.

  7. Ironically enough I have a couple pairs of these, they just recently had some 90th year edition ones that were awesome. You can also get them direct from the company (which is now owned by New Balance). Dunno where you would find any vintage pairs other than ebay but I'm pretty sure they're faithful reproductions currently being made and only around $50, I believe.

  8. I can't do conventional cardio without feeling like one of those mindless drones in the cardio pen at any gym. To get my cardio in I ride my bike around town, occasionally throwing interval sprints in, or if I'm doing heavier conditioning work I've got a prowler and I do some sprints with that.

  9. Ben if you want some information about oil rig work I can point you in the right direction, there is tons of it to be had in Western Canada if you can stomach the cold. You can make around six figures in a year with that work. I've contemplated taking a year off of my schooling to go up there and put in a shift for a year, come back, and be flush with cash. So shoot me a PM if you want some links, and reading.

  10. Problem with wearing sweats is that there's too much loose fabric and they generally bunch up when you're going for a heavy lockout and the bunching of the sweatpants slows the momentum down. I've found that compression tights work well to combat this. So I'll generally just throw a pair on under my shorts on my deadlift day.

  11. Tiny is 100 percent correct about that, that is definitely what I meant. As far as a 15 week cycle being too long for a first go, I sort of agree, but with the longer ester you're only getting 11 weeks of ACTUALLY being on. I also said 12-15, 12 being the sweet spot for first timers with longer esters in my opinion.

  12. You older gents should all give intermittent fasting a go, while it sounds like a load of bullshit to people who have notoriously carried around tupperware full of chicken, brown rice, and green beans all day every day for years so they don't miss a meal, I think you'd be pleasantly surprised at the added fat loss and simplicity IF brings to your life. Easiest way by fat I've found to diet down. If you guys want anymore specific information about it you can PM me and I can point you in the right direction.

  13. I've run the following cycles before:

    Halodrol - 4 weeks

    Halodrol - 6 weeks

    Superdrol - 3 weeks

As you can tell I only have experience with PH's at the moment. I decided that I should just get into the real deal for my health.

Cult, I think you raised a really good point that really pushed me to examine my motivations on why I want to run the sdrol. I'm the kind of guy that can get carried away with things in general and immerse myself (not just exercise/aas). I think you pegged me saying I just want some more gains NOW and for that reason I feel I'm going to just save the sdrol for a later date and run this cycle out on its own. You're correct in identifying how I just hit the promised land. I'm going to observe how my body reacts to this cycle to give me knowledge for future stacking.

I need to remember that its a marathon not a sprint!

You got it chief, happy to help.

  14. You could, yeah, but you've already gotten into the promised land as you're starting to feel the effects of the test. In my opinion you've got no reason to add anything else to the mix now, you could've run an oral kickstart at the beginning like most new users do when they hit their first cycle, but adding it now is just you feeling like you wanna use more, and maybe get some better gains. I'd just save it for your next cycle, if you ever wanna use superdrol (personally wouldn't touch the stuff myself) and see how you react to a purely test cycle for your first go, assuming this is your first go afterall.

  15. Best advice you can give her is to tell her to eat clean, avoid carbohydrates (aside from those found in fruits and vegetables) and gluten, get the majority of her calories from proteins, healthy fats, and fibrous vegetables. Avoid starchy vegetables like potatoes, and keep fruits as more of a small snack than any sort of side for a meal. Basically a sort of paleolithic diet.
