But I also haven't gotten any replies to PMs either. Not a good sign.

From Vision?  Or from other people?

If it's other people (or even Vision himself) like I said, they may not know the forum is back up since the old URL does not redirect to this new forum.  Obviously, if they don't know the forum is up and/or can't find it, they can't reply to your PMs.  Hopefully admin will send out a mass email to all the forum members so that they can find the new board.

    So no recent feedback. OK.

I am interested to know as well.

But I think some people have not found the new board yet.  I had it bookmarked in my toolbar but it was not redirecting to this forum.  I had to Google to get back on here & initially I was afraid to log in because I was not sure it was the same forum or if this new one was a fake one or something lol.

I am sure people who have used him recently will chime in eventually.

  3. Most likely it just hasn't been processed through the ISC yet.  I would ask which one it is (some other more notorious than others for getting packages through slowly) but I understand if you didn't want to share that info.

ISC New York has been called a "black hole" before.  And given that NY is the epicenter for us here in the US, that could be why.  I know the USPS also did away with guarantees overseas (or at least to China) for USPS Express International so IDK if there's something they are doing with international packages coming in or what WRT the COVID situation.

Two weeks is not that long.  If it had been taken by customs the tracking would say something about that.  I wouldn't worry yet.  It's a strange time and the USPS is running out of money so IDK what is going on with them.

Thanks bro. Saved me from testing the unopened vials and possibly an ER trip which I do not want now.

Anyone have experience with their MAST E? Its crazy as when I emailed them to let them know about my Hospital stay, they did not seem concerned. Did not even offer a refund or to send a new batch. I wanted to post but, I did not want to get banned as they were approved source. I do not understand all the good reviews when guys like me, 20+ year VET of using UGL gear who knows how to properly pin have had serious issues. I guess the WOMAN who was responding to emails did not use the gear they were selling and did not know what PIP was or did not care. I do not know. I hope no one else winds up like me.

You are not going to get banned on Anabolic Board for posting a review even if it is a negative review. This board does not censor reviews.

  5. Thanks Geo for the info, and watching over our community.

Fuckin falling asleep at the post office, with packs you were gonna ship out???? Can't imagine him doing time, just get a deal by snitching. And try to get others jammed up for his benefit

I'm glad there is someone like Geo, doing some grunt work. Thanks....

    +1 to both.

Curious about this though...the story in the link Navy posted...so I would have to assume, since he was going to ship them, that they packages were already packed up, addressed, & sealed. LE needs a warrant to open mail. So why would they get away with opening all these packages to be shipped when, without a warrant to do so, that evidence would have been inadmissible? Unless the rules are different if the postage has not been paid & the package has not been handed over to the USPS.

I'm not sure how this played out exactly but he definitely should not have consented to a search. Don't think it would have mattered because he was most likely obviously under the influence of some sort of drug so I'm sure they would have searched with or without his consent. I mean, who the hell pulls into the post office & then falls asleep between turning the car off & getting out of said car? LOL.

I am on my third injection as of last night and have had two nights back to back now where sleep came very hard and didnt last very long. Last night I fell asleep around 11:30 pm and was wide awake by 4:30am.

I ordered hgh that will be here in a few days (jintropin 100iu kits)... wondering if a bedtime 2iu injection would help me sleep better at night? Being 46 years old I doubt I'd suppress much natural nighttime release as most of my sleep is fairly light and not deep rem sleep. So I question I have much natural hgh remaining at this point. These tren sides have always passed for me eventually a few weeks in. But if I could live better through chemistry and not have the side effects as my prescribed muscle relaxants, it would be a cheap easy fix.

Have you ever had a sleep study done? Sleep apnea will keep you out of deep sleep and REM sleep. I was finally diagnosed with it mid 2017 after probably close to a decade of having it...I'll be 30 in a couple weeks but I remember being told back in high school or shortly after high school that I snore(d) like a motherfucker.

I'm not sure what your height/weight is, but at 5'10" and my "normal" weight of around 195lbs, I am very close to the obese category according to BMI. "Normal" as in that is what my body tends to like to sit at if it gets its way. Right now (or at least as of 6 weeks ago or so) I am/was sitting at 213.Xlbs which definitely throws me into the > 30 BMI/obese category. I like to joke & tell people that I have sleep apnea "cuz I'm fat" & they always say something about how "no you're not," "all that muscle," etc. but for what we are talking about here, whether that extra weight is muscle tissue or adipose tissue is irrelevant. Either way, it is just extra weight. I think the fact that it is muscle might actually make it worse than if it was fat tissue just because muscle tissue is so much more dense & muscle tissue that weights 5lbs will occupy a much, much smaller space than 5lbs of fat tissue.

So if you're like a large majority of us who do this, there's a good chance you have sleep apnea to some degree. They believe there may also be a genetic component, so if you have anyone in your family who has sleep apnea, you might as well. You might want to ask your primary care doctor for a referral to a sleep specialist. They give you a pulse oximeter to use for a night - it's just the little clip that goes onto your finger & shines a light through your finger to measure the oxygen saturation. They use that information to determine if you need a sleep study done.

You ever listen to Broderick Chavez? , he’s a guru apparently . does some videos on you tube . I was just listening to one of his the other day and he was saying he thinks nandrolone is the safest thing women can use , less side effects than var . Not sure what dose he’s was recommending but 15mg a week seems very reasonable

That's not very surprising. Nandrolone's androgenicity rating is lower than that of anavar's. Actually, out of basically all hormones, nandrolone has the lowest androgenicity rating.

Yeah I believe your right, god I hope so lol 18 months with 2 kids and a wife!!!

Yeah, I mean, IDK how much longer I can take this. I don't care so much about less people being at the stores, or on the road, or whatever cuz I don't like the vast majority of people anyway; but I'm sick of not being able to go lift lol. Plus I miss my gym people. It's so much harder to get into the right mindset in your living room/storage room & so much harder to concentrate, although I've gotten better at it the last few weeks lol. It'd be different if I had some equipment in a garage or basement or extra bedroom or something because that's a space that you've dedicated to that so it's different than being 6 feet away from the couch lol. I've been unloading the dishwasher between sets lately lmao.

I just had the news on like half an hour ago & they're/this Dr. Fauci guy are predicting the peak for the US is coming soon. And that they're hopefully they might be able to lift the lockdowns/stay at home orders by May 1st. Time will tell.

I did notice today that the graph for my state with regards to positive cases has flatten out a little bit.

  9.

True, I’ve heard the same thing. I just was reading an article saying a possible 18 month quarantine.

I don't think there's anyway that's going to happen....so many small business will be screwed wayyyy before 18 months is up. Plus all the people who are out of work now.

They've been saying the "social distancing" crap could possibly go on for a year or so, but nothing about places being closed for that long. Places are starting to report that the spread is slowing down a little. I heard just this morning that New York has finally started to "flatten the curve" as they've been saying.

Four out of five people in my house had all the symptoms. No big deal. I did have to come home one day from being so fatigued. I just ate a shit load of onions , garlic and chicken soup , all together . Laid in bed the rest of the day and sweated it out. easy peasy. My neighbor who is a fire fighter has it was quarantined . His father who has health issues and lives with him hasn't had any issues what so ever. the father is in his 70's. I'm not buying this koolaid

Right because the only real reason this is such a big deal is because it is completely new to the human immune system. Nobody has any antibodies. A very large percentage of the population will end up infected with it by the time it is all said & done & then next year when this shit comes around again, & it will, it'll be no big deal at all because people's immune systems will have "seen" this virus before.

Like the doctor in that video/transcript I posted said, most people have fairly mild symptoms & don't need to be hospitalized & will recover fairly quickly with no big issues. I can't speak for other states right now, but my state has been posting total number of positive tests, number hospitalized, and number that require the ICU. According to their numbers, & I'm not going to figure out exact percentages, but roughly 10% of those who test positive require hospitalization, which is in line with what this doctor said. And those are only the people who get tested. There are tons of people who have or had this virus already who never got tested so they are not included in the number of positive cases. So the percentage requiring hospitalization is actually less than 10% in my state. As of earlier today, over 50% of the cases in my state have recovered sufficiently that they no longer need to be quarantined/isolated.

  11. I received this video/transcript earlier today. Some good information from a doctor who deals with COVID-19 literally everyday.

I bolded some of the important transmission information right near the beginning of the transcript.

REASSURING Tips from a Pulmonologist at Weill Cornell - New York Presbyterian Hospital - Dr. David Price, M.D., Pulmonary and Critical Care

    Notes from this video: https://youtu.be/WxyH1rkuLaw

"My research at Cornell is focused on critically ill patients in the intensive care unit. My area of interest is translational, patient centered studies that improve the management and outcomes of these patients. My job is to decide which patients need ventilators and get ventilators, how long they have to stay on them, and the treatment of these patients."

"You may hear a little inflection in my voice like I'm emotional. It's not because I'm scared. It's actually the opposite. For the first time in a while, I'm actually not scared," Price said via video. "I work at probably the premier hospital in New York City. Our hospital is almost exclusively a COVID-19 hospital, but we're learning and we know a lot. And what I want you guys to know is that every single day we're getting better, we know more. And I am confident that the stuff I can tell you today should make you guys feel like when this comes to your community that you don't have to be scared and that you can protect your family."

. What is C19? What is this disease? Virus in common cold family. But unique b/c human body has never seen this virus before. Probably came from an animal.

. What does this disease look like? What are the symptoms? Fever, cough, sore throat. Then the virus gets into their whole body and it primarily affects the lungs. For about 80% of people you just don't feel good - cough, headache, maybe a little headache. Disease lasts 5 to 7 to 14 days. For mild case, by day 5 better. For people who aren't feeling better, usually start to get short of breath day 3-5 and then better by 7 day mark.

So, how to protect your family?

. Context: How do you get C19? The overarching theme is sustained contact with someone who has this disease, the vast majority of whom will have fever or aches, or someone who is infected and is about to be symptomatic in the next 1-2 days. You get is almost exclusively from your hands to your face - eyes, nose, mouth - i.e., physical contact. Re aerosol transfer, the thought at this point is for aerosol transmission you need long/sustained contact, over 15-30 minutes, w/o any type of mask, small environment. But overwhelming majority of people getting it are getting it by physically touching people who are infectious then touching their own face. This is the thing that makes me smile a little bit, b/c I know I won't get this disease, b/c I know how to protect myself.

So, these steps will prevent 99% of cases. This virus follows the rules. If you do too, you will be fine.

. Step #1. Know that C19 is in your community, no matter where you are.

. Step #2. Always know where hand are and clean them often. This virus is a wimp, it dies immediately on disinfection, any type of disinfectant. We know that if you keep your hands clean you are not going to get this. You are not going to get this by touching something that someone who was infectious touched, e.g. elevator button. It requires physical contact with that person. Yes, clean your hands before and after you touch that button, but that is probably not how you are going to get this. How you get this is you shake the hand of an infectious person then you touch your face.

. Step #3. Don't touch your face. If you don't touch your face, you are not going to get this. So, when you leave your house wear a mask, not b/c the mask itself will prevent infection but b/c it will help you not touch your face. Fine to wear one at home to practice. Start being aware of touching your own face, and don't do it.

. Step #4. Stay 3-6' away from people.

You do not need a medical mask. If you have one, sure, put it on. But you don't need a big supply of N95's. The general community has 0% need for N95's. In the hospital, I only wear an N95 if I am doing a procedure on a patient who is going to create an aerosol. To protect yourself with a mask, only a regular mask will do.

You don't have to be scared of the outside world. You don't need to be scared of your neighbor. You don't need to be scared of the deliveryman. When you know that the only way you are going to get this is if your hands are dirty and you touch your face, it becomes liberating. The delivery person is not your enemy. The mailman is not your enemy. They are out working and they don't understand this disease. They are heros. This is empowering.

You have to shrink your social circle. Every person you come in contact with has contact with other people. The people who are going to get this are the people who are maintaining large social circles. Find your isolation group and limit everyone's circle to this group.

    C19 and home life.

What do you do if you or someone in your home gets this disease?

. Context: throughout the world, China and everywhere else, the vast majority of spread is by home/family transmission. From husband to wife, father to son, daughter to brother. This is scary, but if you understand the rules it's empowering. So, what do you do?

. Anyone symptomatic needs to be isolated, ideally in their own room, so everyone else can avoid sustained contact with the sick person. But it is ok to keep the person in the home. If able, give the sick person their own bathroom. If the person has to come out and interact, they should wash their hands first, and come out with a medical R95 mask on, then clean anything they touched (e.g., plate, cutlery), then go back to isolation. Others family members are going to want to take care of the sick person by getting close - but they should follow the rules above: no sustained physical contact, keep distance, keep hands clean, don't touch your face. But you shouldn't be scared to stay at home with someone who has C19. The vast majority of people are going to have a fever, body aches, feel horrible for 3-5 days, and better by 7. You can then interact when you feel better, when your fever is gone. Current recommendation is if you get sick and then feel better, you can put on a mask and go to work. It's the same with your family. When you feel better, come back out into family life, but wear a mask and wash your hands.

What do I do if I have a mild cold? If you feel like you're getting sick, take precautions as if you have C19 for 1-2 days. Self-isolate. If you feel better, you do not have C19 and can resume routine.

There are exceptions to this: Vulnerable populations in your family. Elderly, immunocompromised, etc. If you have one of these in your home, you and they need to take extra precautions. If someone else in the house gets sick, you need either to find an alternative living situation for the vulnerable, or take the protective steps extremely strictly, to protect the vulnerable, including giving the vulnerable their own protected space. We know that these are the populations that this disease will kill.

When do you go to the hospital? I may be one of the most qualified people in the country to comment on this. Answer: only if you are short of breath. Not if you have a fever. Not if you have body aches. At Cornell right now we are sending a lot of people home to ride it out. We are also finding that people who arrive short of breath stay that way for 5-7 days and then they go home. Of the entire of people who get C19, 10% need to come to the hospital b/c they are short of breath, not more. Of the people who come to the hospital, 1-3% require ICU and ventilator. Of the people who need a vent, the vast majority come off the vent in 7-10 days. So, going to the hospital when you are short of breath is not a death sentence.

Should I get tested if I feel unwell? This is hard question. Depends on availability of testing. If you have flulike symptom, it is likely you have C19. But that won't change the recommendations above. The caveat is that a lot of places are now implementing broad testing, and if you have access - absolutely get the test. B/c when you are feeling better, you can have full interaction with your family. But if your area is short of tests, don't get in the cue. Just take the precautions.

Infants and newborns? We don't think it goes from the mother to the fetus, but rather after-birth on contact. But there is almost no C19 in the population from age 0 to 14. Kids are not getting sick. Kids are not dying. There is a whole debate about whether they are transmitting the disease, but we don't know.

Protecting front line providers? The vast vast majority of transmission is droplet - a sick person to either a surface where it's quickly taken up by someone else or to another person's hand, and then that person's hand to their face. The only time we in the hospital wear N95 mask is when we are doing something to a patient that makes them spit a lot. The vast majority of time, 80%, when nurses are in the room with a C19 patient, they are wearing a surgical mask only. In HK and Singapore, when front line providers wear a surgical mask in general and N95 when and aerosolizing procedure, 0% transmission to healthcare providers. None. The healthcare providers getting sick, and they are getting very sick, are one clear population: healthcare providers on the front line who have extensive contact and are not protecting themselves. E.g. GP who took a nasal swab 3 weeks ago in the office in NYC and was unaware the patient was C19 and didn't take precautions; the ER doctor who 3 weeks ago in NYC didn't know the level of protection required. At Cornell, where we have been doing this for 3 weeks, we can interact with C19 patients and if we follow the rules, we are not getting sick.

Is it safe to go outside? Yes. Just follow the rules.

What about bandanas? Sure. Because it will prevent you from touching your face.

Road trips? Fine, as long as no one in the car has C19.

Disinfect packages, groceries, etc? In NYC where it is rampant, out of an abundance of caution, yes have it left at the door, use gloves to accept deliveries, but don't worry about what's inside the package. Just don't high five the deliveryman. Don't pick up the plastic bag and have a huge long interaction with that bag. Everything you touch, clean your hands. But I don't believe you need to wipe things down. I live in rooms with C19 patients for 12 hrs day and so I have a clear procedure for disinfecting myself. But that is not you.

Should I go to the doctor? Use telemedicine. We have an army of doctors at home waiting to take your call. Do not go to the doctor; do not go to the hospital.

What's the incubation period? Depends on exposure, probably. ER doctor who is exposed to a lot of disease it's probably a couple of days. For milder exposure, could be upwards of 14 days. So casual contact and you don't feel sick at 14 days, you probably won't get this disease.

Who is at risk? EVERYONE OLDER THAN AGE 14. It hits the entire spectrum of ages older than 14. We see a ton of 35 year olds. Some day we understand why but today we don't. If you are older than 14, take care. The younger you are, the less likely you land on a vent. But we have young people on vents and older people who come through fine. We don't know why.

What drugs can I use to remedy myself? Use Tylenol, it cuts fever. We are no longer using ibuprofen - causes inflammation. What we see is people get progressively short of breath, and if it keeps going they end up on a vent. They typically settle out after 1 day. And then after c 7 days we can typically get them off the vent. Dealing with these patients as a doctor is incredible simple - it's the same procedure for all patients, though it is very scary for the patients.

Homemade mask? Sure, and give your stash of N95 masks to the hospital. They need them. You don't.

What can we expect to happen? Social distancing will last for months, and up to a year. The first thing you do is flatten the curve and bring cases down so hospitals don't get overwhelmed. Then people will get relaxed and there will be a second small spike. Then it will get under control as people's behavior changes. As soon as you learn the rules, it's empowering. New normal for 6-9 months.

What about symptomatic spread? Cruise ship data, people shed the disease 1-2 days before fever. So if you get sick, notify the people you had contact with in the prior 1-2 days. If they feel ok after 2-4 days they will probably be fine. But I don't think there are huge asymptomatic spreaders giving this to everyone.

Immunity after infection? Yes, people are absolutely becoming immune. The stories you are hearing are people who didn't fully resolve the disease. We know that 1-2 days after you have the disease until about 14 days into the disease, you are spreading it to the environment. 81K people in China got the disease, 76K recovered and now have antibodies that protect them. Natural course: C19 will enter world circulation, spreading around the world, getting milder and 5 years from now you'll get this exact virus and it will feel like a cold. But the first time through the population it will be far more impactful.

For care providers: screen patients and hand hygiene. That'll do it. If you are doing close in care in NYC at the center of the epidemic, use a mask.

Pregnant women? We are not seeing any difference - pregnancy does not seem to impact your odds. We do see a male predominance. But for most people who get it you're going to feel awful and then you are going to feel better.

  12. I've had issues with my right hip that sounds similar. I would check not only the flexibility, but your ability to move your legs in line with your hips while keeping your core braced. Here is an exercise I've used for that, just make sure that you keep your lower back in contact with the ground as you lower your legs:

I would also do resisted leg lowering. Same starting position as the video above, but have a long loop band attached to a rack or door anchor behind your head (about 4 feet high), then put one leg through and try to pull that leg down toward the floor while keeping the other leg up. Be sure to keep lower back pressed into the floor.

To check your adductors, again start on the floor in same position. Start with legs straight up and place a medicine ball between your knees (just above knees on vastus medialis). Now try to do leg lowering while keeping the ball squeezed into place. Again, keep lower back pressed into floor.

Those moves helped me quite a bit, hopefully you will find them useful.

Thanks man. I will check out that video & try the other things you suggested.

I am starting to become rather concerned now....I figured with the gyms closed & being unable to squat with any sort of substantial external load that it would be better, but I am still getting pain while doing split squats.

  13.

Yeah just ordered one of those door way pullups and dip station for 49 bucks. Really miss weights. My body doesnt feel the same and feel skinny fat lol

Nice. It's actually pretty nice to have at home for someone who is bad at pullups because they can do something where everytime they walk underneath the bar they have to do one or two pullups. A type of "grease the groove" technique. Even people who aren't bad at pullups could benefit from doing something like that.

And I was at a small store earlier today, talking to the worker and another customer & apparently they have extended our stay at home order until May 4th & also closed parks as you mentioned myo. The other customer even said they had taped off the parks & removed the basketball hoops. I haven't really been looking at the coronavirus numbers or anything related the last 4-5 days so I missed those announcements. Sick of this shit though I'll tell yah. Like you I miss the iron.

And I feel smaller too lol, but I think that is largely because I was using androl & stopped it for a couple weeks. I look basically like I always did a month ago when I have a bit of a pump. I started the Abombs up again at a pretty low dose like 1-1.5 weeks ago. It looks like I've actually dropped some fat; or I've put a little bit of mass onto my abs because I can see a difference there. Either doing these short 0.5-0.6 mile runs every morning has helped or because I've actually been doing my ab work the last few weeks & just recently started adding resistance in the form of a band to my ab wheel work.

  14. Doesn't look like gyms will be opening any time soon... they even shut down the parks so cant even do pullups there. Now only pushups and bands... sucks..

What? Where? They're keeping water parks & beaches closed this summer near me. Haven't heard anything about parks other than no team sports/pickup games (tennis is the exception). Apparently they even formed some "team" or whatever to go out & make sure people aren't doing like pickup basketball games & whatnot lol.

One of those doorway pullup bars can be had for about $30. Can even use them to do pushups with different grips or to get a slightly longer range of motion with the neutral grip pushups for example. They can hold my 210+lbs ass up. Or you can get one of those "power towers" that has a pullup bar, dip handles, sometimes a seatback for some ab stuff, usually they have handles near the bottom too for pushups (again neutral grip & increased ROM). Those typically run between $150-$225 so not terribly expensive. I don't have one at my place, but I have one at my parent's house.

I have a bunch of EliteFTS bands - some of the pretty heavy ones too. One of those bands unbent one of my small carabiners the other day....fucking thing came flying off & I'm pretty sure it dug into & ripped up a small piece of the linoleum floor in my storage room....really probably pretty lucky it didn't take a chunk out of my foot or leg.

  15. Ok, not sure but it looks like what's happening is from the time frame.

you post, then edit and repost in under a few mins, it appears to be spamming. I may be wrong.

Go to one of your older post and edit it and see if it does the same. Let Sam know as well.

That's what I thought as well - editing them two or three times in a short period of time. But I guess I'm confused why that would flag it as spam - I don't think most spammers go and edit their posts. Seems like they would just go make another post in a different thread or section of the board C/Ping the same text into each reply box.

How should I contact Sam about this? I figured posting in here was the way to do that but it sounds like maybe it isn't - or at least it isn't the best way to go about it...?

I just edited an older post twice in maybe 90 seconds & it didn't get flagged.

  16. Why does this keep happening? I've had a few posts where when I edit them (to either add a little more information or correct a spelling mistake or whatever) it then says they have been detected as possible spam & the post needs to be approved. I'm not posting just random crap that is really short or anything - this happens even if I type out a few short paragraphs of legitimate information. Is there anything that can be done about this? Other than me not editing my own posts I guess?? But even sometimes if I don't edit the post after it has been posted, it still says the initial post is suspected spam & requires approval.

I have a post in this thread that is currently green & says "unapproved" at the bottom: http://anabolicboard.is/forums/forum/anabolic-section/steroid-talk/586658-what-are-you-planning-on-running-this-summer-older-guys

  17. I bought a pair of adjustable kettlebells on amazon that go up to 36lbs. Also have a 45lb one. That’s it. And I swear to you I’ve been using just these for the past week and a half and feel great. I even look better than before the gyms closed. I guess my muscles are being worked differently than they have throughout my entire life. I also neglected much of the core work I should’ve been doing over the years. When you are in your 20s and 30s and look in the mirror and like what you see- you tend to work on aesthetics more than let’s say the foundation. I’m 49 now and before this shit happened I was keto dieting, fasting etc thinking that was the solution to my distended gut. Now I’ve been basically forced to do a good amount of core work with kettlebell swings etc. I’ve also been doing 4 sets of planks and 4 sets of leg lifts almost every day and I definitely see improvement in my core and aesthetics. Blessing in disguise I guess. With that said- for you younger guys here- don’t ignore your core no matter how good you look now.

I do my ab work at home...or at least I'm supposed to lol. I rarely do. The longest I went with doing it like I was supposed was like 8 weeks tops back at the end of 2018. I have actually been doing it the last 2-3 weeks or whatever it's been now.

I've also been doing a really short run, just half a mile, most every morning for the last week. I didn't go this morning because we got some rain/freezing rain/sleet/snow on Friday afternoon & the sidwalks were iced up this morning. But I actually really kind of like it. I think I'm going to keep doing it even after the gyms are open again.

  18.

Very impressive physique brother. Mine is very similar but your abs and upper chest better than mine. I too have the same exact issue with my legs. The outer part of my thighs is just impossible for me to get to grow. I even adjust my positioning so that I feel the muscle burn at the spot where my weak point is but shit it won’t grow. The inner part by the the knees gets big but the outer- nada. Same with my upper chest and lower outer chest. I’m beginning to think it’s just genetics at this point for me. Yours is obviously due to a serious injury but the Aesthetics of your upper body is on definitely on point. Also- I agree... getting old sucks!!!!! . Believe it or not, the gyms being closed has been a good thing for me as I bought a set of kettlebells. Been doing some swings and some core work that a lot of bodybuilders neglect over the years. Even in my 30s and early 40s I had abs like yours but now at 49 I wound up getting a distended stomach. Many people believe this is from gh/insulin or years of steroid use. I firmly believe that most guys my age that get this- it’s from a weak core. I’d say 90% of guys who are even jacked and in their 20s and 30s neglect their core simple because they look great in the mirror. Problem is that once you hit 45 or so- for some reason you see what I mean.

It is largely genetic. Take the chest for example, you get these guys who talk about how they do this or that to work the "inner" chest or the "upper" chest or whatever. There is no such thing & I think these people lack an understanding of basic anatomy & phsyiology. The pectoral is made up of two muscles - the pec minor which lies underneath the pec major which is the fan blade like muscle that we can see which inserts at the clavicle, the sternum, and then the humerus. The entire pectoral contracts as one. Muscle contraction period is an all or nothing event. Either all the fibers in the entire muscle contract or none do. So you can't work your "upper" chest because there is no such thing - it's all one muscle. Yes, you can shift the emphasis if you will around to a degree with regards to the upper or lower region of the pec but the entire muscle will contract as one.

Beyond mind muscle connection & ensuring that my pecs are actually contracting & that I'm squeezing (& using my anterior deltoid as minimally as possible), one movement I've found that helps with that upper area of the pectoral muscle is to sit on a Hammer Strength incline press (or similar) sideways. Then use your pec to pull your upper arm across your body - that is the function of the pec. Then repeat on the other side. I usually do this for higher reps - like 12-20. People at my gym seem to think it's a good idea since some of them have stolen the movement from me lol.

Also, one other thing I've found that seems to help is to use the smallest incline possible. People seem to like to do their incline pressing at like a 45 degree or greater angle but that brings in substantially more anterior deltoid involvement. I've found that a smaller incline seems to work better. According to one guy who used to lift at my gym, I don't do incline pressing. They are "slightly raised" lol. I told him "yeah, slightly raised to an incline."

  19.

This was on March 7. Newborn went to NICU March 8 and stayed for 11 days. 2 meals a day, low water, and no gym for that period as corona was also ramping up in Texas at that time. When arriving back from the hospital the gyms were already closed and migrated to a diet of Tito’s and Cheetoh’s for the last 8-9 days. I’m down about 5 lbs and just holding a little water, nothing crazy. Finally hitting the Bowflex Adjustables and looking for sponsorship haha. (See Below)

I was just kind of Bullshitting in the mirror to see the above waist. I tore my kneecap off on my right knee and the whole quad atrophied down to nothing in 2010. When flexing and facing forward the left leg is still solid, but you’re right the vastus laterlis near the knee on my right leg is def noticeable. And most of all getting old sucks....the only reason i added

    NPP was knee pain :(wAAACH5BAEKAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAICRAEAOw==

Gotcha...that sounds horrible. What was the recovery time like for that injury? Can you still do everything or are there movements (like squats) that you can't do anymore? Anything you've found that helps with adding size to the vastus lateralis? I read or heard that close stance squats or leg presses will help so added back in leg presses with a narrower stance & do sets of 30 pyramiding up & down from 10 plates total to 16 plates total (plus the sled weight) but I've not noticed a whole lot of improvement in that area. Some obviously, but not what I would like.

It is really amazing how fast muscle tissue will atrophy when it's not being used or used minimally. I have a picture from about 5 weeks after my knee surgery years ago & the size difference between my legs in just over a month was insane.

  20.

I have NO information on where he is????

all I said is that I used his tb-500 and bpc-157

Well you said he got "got" lol. I took that to mean that you were saying he got busted. If that's not what you meant, my mistake lol.

  21. I used them both I felt they helped , I wish dude was still around but he’s got I guess *♂️

Why do you say that? I know people couldn't get it touch with him & that his thread was locked & it appears his subforum is gone now (hidden at least), but I haven't seen anyone say he got busted. People did mention in his thread that this had happened before where he disappeared for a while (I believe it was said to have been for security reasons) but that he came back. Do you have some other information that hasn't been shared yet?

  22.

I hear it survive on plastic cardboard for 24 hours. Stainless steel, “hard surfaces “ glass for 72 hours. But with that said I’ve heard so many different times who knows for sure.

Pretty sure plastic is with steel & whatnot at 3 days. Cardboard is 24 hours & they're not sure about paper, but I'd guess it'd be similar to cardboard.
