  1. So back around probably 10 weeks ago now, I was doing some leg pressing. Wasn't really heavy - I do sets of 30 reps on that starting with 10 plates total & work up to 16 plates total & then back down to 10 plates with each set being 30 reps. When I went to push back up, I felt this sharp pain at the top of my quad/front of my hip area. I was subsequently still able to front squat 3+ plates but couldn't back squat without pain. So I had taken some time off from lower body stuff & then started some front squatting with the weight backed off a bit. Since I wasn't having issues with that I went back up to my usual front squat weights for Thursdays & Saturdays but still not doing any significant back squatting on Mondays. Then probably 4 weeks ago now, I reinjured it doing front squats on a Saturday doing a backoff set of 295lbs.

     

    Initially I thought my hip flexors were tight especially because I sometimes sit with my left foot elevated so my left hip flexor is even more shortened when I have to sit like that & I could actually feel it like stretching back out when I would stand up - but there is a test you can do called the Thomas Test I believe which I pass. So my hip flexors being tight is not the issue seemingly. I think they're just weak. So I've been doing some work to strengthen them.

     

    It is still currently an issue. I did some BW split squats yesterday (since all the gyms are closed) & it was still hurting. I can do bodyweight squats below parallel with no issue. But back squatting with a load results in pain when I am down in the hole below parallel. Doing the split squats yesterday I was getting pain above the hole - which kind of makes sense since it was only one leg at a time it was basically like having an external load on it since only one leg is now moving my bodyweight.

     

    Kind of at a loss as to what to do. Other than waiting. Anyone had something similar? Was it more a hip flexor issue or an adductor issue? What did you do that was helpful?

  2. Mine shut down last weekend. I havent worked out since January because of work, so it doesn't effect me. Im kinda glad I havent worked out, gives me a chance to heal my aches and pains and I think my tennis elbow is gone now too. But, gym is suppose to be back open sometime in April!

     

    Yeah, this is true as well. I injured my left hip flexor about two months ago & then I reinjured it about two & a half weeks ago. Makes squatting really hard because it hurts when I get down below parallel into the hole. Initially I had been able to front squat just not back squat because of how much more upright you are during fronts. Didn't even have to change the weight - could still handle 315lbs+ on fronts although I probably shouldn't have been. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise...gives me time to work on that to build some strength in my hip flexors & let the injured side heal up.

    This is true. I have my "real" full time job but I've kept my part time job from when I was in school (just because I actually like it) & that store has closed until the 1st of April I believe it is. At least as of now until April 1st - I guess we'll see if it's extended or not. But that industry is slated to lose out on I think it was 150 BILLION because of this.

     

    I know my state unemployment office has had around 50,000 applicants this past week versus about 2100 applicants this week last year.

  4. Mine closed Monday at 2200 hours until March 27th. I found out Tuesday right before I went to bed - checked their website because I knew at least one gym in town had closed only to see mine was closed as well. Checked the new 24/7 place & they had closed too. Sucks. This week isn't that big of a deal because I had decided like two weeks ago that this was going to be a deload week, but next week I'm supposed to be back to my normal routine only now it ain't happening!! Going to have to make due tomorrow & next week with my EliteFTS bands and the couple resistance tubes I have.

  5. Ok I was able to set up bitcoin I tried it through 2 different apps. The first was cash app it took a photo of the front and back of my id. After it was approved my debit card (through bank of America) got declined so I tried my credit union debit card and it declined that too. Then I tried coin base where I verified 2 small withdrawals and it said I successfully bought bitcoins (I tried a small amount of $150) and that was also declined by both banks. Am I missing a step that's not allowing my banks to use my debit cards?

     

    They (Visa/Mastercard/your banks) are probably flagging them as (potentially) fraudulent transactions. I've had that happen a few times & I had to call them to verify that it was in fact me trying to send those transactions through. Usually they'll verify who you are (name, DOB, partial SSN), ask you about the transaction that was declined, & usually about the few transactions prior to the one that was declined just to verify your card hasn't been compromised. No big deal. Once they verify it's you, they do whatever they do to allow it to go through & you're good to go.

    So youre saying you had significant enough skin issue that it warranted using accutane and it not only solved your issues but cured you long term with no side effects. Gotcha

     

    I mean, it wasn't that bad in terms of I didn't have like the really big, deep cystic type acne that it's typically prescribed for. I had the normal side effects while I was using it - dry skin, chapped lips, dry mouth, etc. Whether or not I have had long term side effects, well, I'm not sure. Some of the long term side effects could just be attributed to getting older.

     

    Regardless of my single case, some of the potential long term, life long side effects, cell damage, etc that accutane is capable of causing, well, if you've done your research and know some of the things the drug is capable of, for some people, it can be very hard to argue for its use.

     

    And understand that I say avoid it in retrospect. Had I been aware of some of the drugs potential effects back then, I would like to believe I would have chosen not to take it, but I don't know that for a fact. It is certainly possible that I would have agreed to the course of the drug anyway.

    I took accutane back in high school. While I didn't have any issues with it & it worked (well) then & to this day I don't have any significant acne problems, if I knew what I know now about that drug, i never would have taken it.

    Well, so who was this then? Cuz that was the CIM address they had me use way back when I first ordered...are you saying I got scammed way back in July & then I think September as well? I emailed them with the email address that was in their thread.

     

    So confused...I was back when the information was first coming out too.

     

    EDIT: Actually, holy shit. I did BTC with them both times. A source with a DIFFERENT lab name had me use that address posted in the other section of the forum.

    The scammer CIM address was posted in another forum - that was one that was being used before for orders. When exactly did that go bad?

  10. There are no such things as "bulking" or "cutting" compounds. Your diet and your diet alone will determine whether you are "bulking" or "cutting."

     

    I used prop for the first 4 weeks of my first cycle alongside test E. The goal was to put on muscle tissue. I routinely run both tren E & tren A at the same time because I get slightly different effects from each ester & it also saves a little bit of money. I have done the same thing with bold cyp & bold undec, I now run sustanon as my main test, so there's four different esters right there.

     

    And do people really do the bulk/cut BS anymore? Seriously, there is no reason to put on a bunch of fat that you just have to later try to get rid of. Just eat a couple hundred calories above maintenance & you will put on muscle with minimal fat gain.

    Ok, so I've been looking into your claim that they have confirmed infections from doorknobs and such & I cannot find anything to support it. The most recent thing I can find is the CDC saying "It's currently unclear if a person can get 2019-nCoV by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes." That was from about a day & a half ago. Where are you getting your information? I think you are misunderstanding something - it is possible for object to human transmission but unlikely due to the survivability of coronoaviruses on surfaces.

    Interesting. This is a recent development then. Do you have a source for this? I find it hard to believe there is a 2 week period from infection to actually displaying symptoms though - that is a long time.

  14. Nobody said it can't survive outside the human body. What was said, at least what I said, was that it cannot survive for very long outside of the human body; a couple hours tops. It is a virus. Since it hasn't mutated yet (at least not that we are aware of), and like most other coronaviruses (these are super common; cause the common cold) it is spread via droplets from coughs & sneezes (possibly also oral-fecal route), it is incredibly unlikely for you to become infected. These droplets with the virus travel only about 6 feet max; it's not like measles or TB where they can travel for hundreds of feet. Basically, the only way you are likely to become infected is if you have contact with someone who has traveled to Wuhan China & actually has the virus. OR if you come into contact with someone who is asymptomatic but has acquired the infection from being in contact with someone who has been to Wuhan.

     

    Infections from gear are not caused by viruses.

    I never had to take a picture of anything for CashApp. Had no idea they even asked people to do that. But I've never used it for BTC. I've only used it with a debit card to make regular product purchases from companies/vendors (never used it for anything that anyone or any entity would deem "illegal"). So maybe the fact I've ever used CashApp for BTC is why I never had to send a picture of ID, or card, or anything else...?

     

    Did everyone else have to send in pictures?

  16. LOL, nobody is going to get infected by "tainted" raws. The virus needs a human host to survive - it can't survive more than a few hours tops outside the human body. And it's most likely spread person to person via droplets.

     

    Plus it would be subjected to temperature extremes during shipping and the process of turning the raw powders into usable oil products which would likely kill the virus even if it was able to survive outside a human host (and again, it can't - it needs to incubate within the human body).

    Ask the dr which law it is as you would like to research it and be clear about how to "legally" conduct yourself while receiving trt.

    It's usually twice a year I believe. So is this every 2 months indefinitely or is it to find a proper dosage for you that puts you into the normal range at which point you will not be required to do as frequent bloodwork? I am thinking it's the former by the way you worded it.

  18. Only purpose would be to have a full set of hang lows. Will you preserving your nuts to make more test? maybe if this is your first or second cycle and you’re 24.

     

    I’ve always done 2-3x a week (250-500iu each) when I wanted to hang low and have some massive loads. When I was in my mid 20’s and early cycles when I actually came off I’d do 3-4x a week and it seemed to help my test rebound when off. By my late 20’s my natty T rebound was laughable. The HCG just got me from 0 ng of test to a whopping 200ish Ng level over an couple months. Hence no more coming off and cruising/blasting became my life.

     

    btw...two pregnancies for me in my late 30’s. So much for years of abuse leading to sterility. We got preggos real fast when she started letting me drop loads inside her.

     

    This was what I did also when I used HCG back before I decided to blast & cruise. I'd use I think it was 250iu (maybe 500iu but I don't think so except closer to the end of a cycle) twice a week. Then I would blast higher amounts of HCG from the end of the cycle to the start of PCT. Don't ask me what I did for that because that shit was like 8-9 years ago now & I have no idea what dosages I used. If I had to guess it would have been 1000iu EOD.

     

    Remember though that HCG can increase estrogen levels a bit as well.

  19. I didn't post what I thought about these types of situations in my OP, but I agree with you guys. My phone stays in the locker room while I'm lifting. Always has. I don't understand these people who think they're so damn important that they can't spend 30 minutes to 2 hours or so without their phone glued to their hands. It's one thing if you're on call or something or waiting to hear back about something really pressing and/or important, but otherwise, just let it go for a while.

     

    People always say "well I gotta record my numbers." You can do that without a phone. You SHOULD do it without a phone - phone's get replaced/broken/lost, apps are discontinued, people forget their login information for apps, etc. If you're serious about your lifting & training, you should have hard copies and/or a couple electronic backups of your training logs so you can look back years down the road & see how you trained to achieve XXXXXX. Or they say they need it for music. I guess I can maybe get that one, but why not just get a cheap MP3 player? That's what I did. I have an iPod nano that I only use in the weightroom. Plus, why would I want my like $700-$1000 phone laying out somewhere where people are utilizing weights that could destroy my device so easily? Like I mentioned, my phone gets locked up in a locker; the only exception to that has been when my old iPod nanos took a dump & stopped working - then I would repurpose one of my old phones for music temporarily. But since it's an old phone that's just been sitting in a drawer for a couple years it can't access any mobile network anymore so no phonecalls/text can be received or sent. And I hate having to do that just because of the size difference lol. So annoying to go from a little iPod nano to a phone for music temporarily lol.

  21. I've never witnessed this happen (yet) but with how many people have their cell phones in the weight room, I am sure eventually I will. Just curious as to what people think or would react to this.

     

    As mentioned, a lot of people have their cell phones with them on the weight floor. A good percentage of these people also will put them on the floor next to their bench or machine they are using. Obviously this leaves it vulnerable to being damaged or broken. So what if, in front of the dumbbell racks, someone has their phone sitting on the floor with their water bottle, notebook, etc all next to their bench. Someone on the bench next to them gets injured and consequently drops their dumbbells, or just kind of drops them (not like throwing them) after their set, or something feels weird during their set so they bail to try to prevent an injury and drop the dumbbells. The dumbbell(s) bounces/rolls/smashes and ends up damaging the person's phone. Curious to know what you guys think in terms of who is at fault/responsible, who should pay, how much each person should pay if they're going to split the cost, etc. Those types of things.

     

    I've wondered about this before but never posted on a forum or asked anyone IRL what they thought about it. Only partially related, but I was front squatting today for my medium lower day & two guys came in & took the rack next to me (like why? Why not take the rack next to the attractive girl? but whatever lol) & somehow one of them, while racking the bar after a set of squats, manages to slide both plates off one side of the bar & the plates then slammed down onto the floor between our racks. This happened during my set while I had 295lbs racked across my front delts so I was just like WTF? Nothing was damaged, but this incident just kind of confirmed for me how stupid some of the newer people at my gym are. But that is kind of what prompted my question.

    Yes, that was exactly my thinking years ago when I made the decision to blast & cruise instead of the hormonal rollercoaster that is the cycle/PCT method. I am over a decade younger than you though lol. There is no way I will ever give this up by choice so why screw around with the like 3 steps forward & 2.5 steps back BS with cycling/PCT'ing. It was like "going to use PEDs anyway, going to keep lifting for life, & I'll get on TRT anyway when I'm older at the very least for quality of life, so why not just jump on permanently now & take some of the detrimental BS out of the equation?"

     

    And I'm not sure I really gave you any tips lol. I just kind of confirmed/thumbs up'd what you already laid out & were already thinking lol.

  23. Looks pretty good. I'm actually doing something similar right now - basically the exact same thing except my doses are slightly different & I am not using Masteron. I think it will work great for what you want (recomp) assuming you pair it with effective training (& of course nutrition/rest).

     

    The only thing I would recommend is lowering your test. 300 is the max I would use. I am using 270mg/week. Half a gram is too much when you have that tren in there. 200-300mg. Essentially you want a "high TRT" dose at the most. (Although I guess depending on one's size, they could claim half a gram is a TRT dose lol). If you want, after you finish the tren, you could give it a week or so & then ramp the test up a little bit to whatever you want until the end of the blast.

     

    Was also going to strongly recommend to stop cycling/PCTing like you mentioned in for your sentence, but at the end you said you don't come off anymore anyway. Which, while you don't say how old you are, is what I would recommend. I have no idea why any man over the age of 40 at the latest is not on TRT. It's not even for lifting - at that point it's just a quality of life thing.

     

    EDIT: Actually, I am using 300mg/week of test sustanon right now. I was using 270mg/week but switched to a different lab's sust when I finished the vial & I went from a concentration of 300mg/mL to 250mg/mL. Corrected spelling error & added stuff about increasing weekly test dosage after finishing the tren.
