1.
You know whats funny is that you never see them on MTV or any shows for that matter. They only tour and put out an album once every five years and they do hardly any press, but if you walk into a party 9 out of 10 people will say TOOL is in their top 10.

Otherwise it would take years since 128bit is like 128 characters long.

PGP pass phrases are difficult if not impossible to crack and i only meant that is many cases server side passwords are weak. That being said hush has been infiltrated via DNS: http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,1759,1791152,00.asp ...how many passwords do you think this gave up? Regardless pgp has been corrupted several times. Remember back when public key certificates were being hijacked and used to aid in decryption. Crypto in general is safe, its everything that goes along with it that weakens it which was the point i was really trying to make .

Unless you work for cyber rights you dont know. I read an article that ousted several alleged secure mail systems that claimed encryption. But i will concede that i can be wrong about the pgp file encryption.

Number 5 actually makes all these other points moot.

  3. Just because you have 500-600 post doesnt mean that we dont see that you just joined 2 days ago. Time creates trust, not posts. Remember that when you run around post 40 times a day and then ask for a full list of other boards. I can tell you right now if i was an admin i would delete about 20 accounts today! Activity like this is nothing but suspicious! It took me almost 4 years to get 850 posts. Alot of bros on here are like my internet family just chatting about whatever. I very rarely even post in the classifieds section.

And good press = no ratings. Will never happen.

  5. There seems to be alot of discussion about how email and encryption is infiltrated so i thought i would talk about it for a minute.

    1. First "128bit" encryption CAN NOT BE CRACKED! Any security professional will attest to this fact! End of discussion!
    2. Cyber-Rights and Hushmail only encrypt to and from your PC. Info coming from cyber rights to your pc cant be read. While on the server they can be read by anyone who can crack the database which is usually protected by a simple password which can be broken via brute force.
    3. The government doesnt have secret technology that can read your emails using the space-time continuum. (please stop with the conspiracy theories)
    4. most people give up valuable info by simply not deleting information and saving emails to be read by anyone who hacks the dbase.
    5. Reading your emails is as simple as sliding a password sniffer or a keylogger onto your computer. Then guess what they just use the password you gave up to them without knowing it.
    6. Security should be a multi headed approach. you can have 50 million bit encryption and it will do you no good without a good firewall and descent proxy.
    7. Finally, email Is NOT the reason for all of this happening. Remailers rolling over, people snitching, and/or people bragging. (Someone actually posted a pick a while ago of about 300 bottles of gear bragging how he just got it in the mail???) This WILL get you busted!

Be safe, stay quiet and follow a few simple guidelines. Use proxies like "tor" which i talk about in the tech section and a good firewall with a password protected home computer.

  6. For all the people that have been around for more than 5 minutes like myself, rooster, galaxy, quest and many others this isnt the first time the classifieds section has come down and it wont be the last. This also isnt the first witch hunt the feds have gone on. This board has survived some dark periods and come back(including a former owner getting busted). So to all that think its done go somewhere else because we dont want you here anyway. P.S. traffic is probably slow because all you fuck-tard noobs going around telling people the DEA is gonna bust you for buying 5 bottles of test! Grow up and dont comment on shit that you have no experience with. Go use your "total gym".
