I work in public transportation so it's easy for me to catch something that either our bus drivers or the hundreds of passengers on the buses could have brought with them.

Fortunately, I've been using deca and take vitamins to strengthen my immune system. So far, it's been working for a few years. On the few times that I end up catching the flu/cold, I hit myself with brandy or Southern Comfort at night before hitting the sheets and the next morning, I'm at least 80% better. But I'll admit that the flu took my butt out of work for a week a couple of years ago. But that was the only time in 15 years that ever happened to me.

I'm sorry. I read that first post (thread starter) and could only LAUGH OUT FUCKING LOUD. Sure, it's been damn near 30 years since I was a newbie in the gym but I can honestly recall NEVER EVER hurting myself during any of my workouts.

To hit your head during a db curl only says that they are swinging the db or else curling too fast. I can remember once tapping my chin while executing an upright row (which is an exercise that I don't do anymore due to rotator cuff injuries) but I didn't break a tooth in the process.

myosaurus, all that I can say is that it's not just a common sense matter. Those clients obviously hadn't paid enough attention during your training with them in order to prevent those mishaps.

I've had surgery on my left rotator cuff as my right was giving me pain. They prevented me from benching or military presses for months and from competing in powerlifting benching. Now 3 years since the surgery, I'm still trying to achieve my usual bench weight but I'm pretty much up to date with military presses. Technically, I'm still in pain with the right delt and I don't think it will ever get better.

I would do anything to be kept after school by that teacher. LOL

When I was in LE back in the early 90's, our division was slowly deflating and most of our guys transferred over to the school board security. Even my older brother had gone there. But he warned me that there were alot of young girls there who didn't look their age and would seduce a man in a heartbeat. So I avoided that job like AIDS.

Ironically while on that LE job one morning, I was stationed in the municipal courts when this 15 year old girl approached me. She went on to explain that she was arrested for assaulting her aunt as she was fighting her mom. You know, a tough ghetto girl. Then out of nowhere, the girl tells me that I ought to come to her house and keep her company one morning. She said that her mom goes to work early in the morning and don't get home until late at night and that I would give her a reason to stay home from school for "home schooling". I just looked at her in disbelief. I was 35 at the time and needless to say, decline her offer.

I'm truly sorry to hear that.

At least he's not suffering anymore and is in a better place.

Back when Jeff Jarrette was wrestling in the WWF (now WWE), he often referred to himself as The Chosen One in his interviews. So I went with that name months after joining AB. It's not a mistake when the rules are well posted for EVERYONE to read upon registering on the site. To ask for a source on ANY AAS board is just downright idiotic. I'm not much of a sweatpants person in the gym. I prefer baggy workout pants from House of Pain, NPC, or Gold's Gym. I have only one pair of sweatpants that wear to the gym once in a while is from Gold's Gym.

Over the past decade + 4, I've met women online but not dating sites. Often MySpace, Facebook, and communities. But the majority of the ones that I've dated in my lifetime, including now, I've met women at my jobs.

Only twice, I've dated coworkers, which used to be off limited to me. While ended with us breaking up and my getting fired, one former coworker and I have remained friends/lovers/dating for years.

My wife, I actually met 22 years ago at my job when I was LE. NO, we weren't coworkers and NO, I didn't arrest her and performed "police brutality" on her. At least not then....lol We remained friends ever since and recently decided to "jump the broom".

During and after a workout, I was drinking a bottle of ephadra tea. I was hitting delts pretty hard so I figured that I would probably work off the effects in an hour.

Later that night, I'm lying in bed with my then gf and she is very sleep sensitive. Every light have to be off in the house, every sound need to cease, etc. She even keeps her door closed whether she's alone or not. Suddenly she turns to me and says, "Stop moving". I just thought that she was dreaming or something. Then I thought about the tea. A couple of minutes later she ask me, "Why are you pushing the bed?" I grabbed her hand, put it on my heart and asked, "Is this what you feel?" That only scared her and I ended up sleeping on her sofa that night.
