  1. What i did to combat any issues: PED’s. Bwahaha.

Now i get bloods with a doc, take a low dose trt. 30mg every other week. I had very low test. Was at 7, now im at around 120.

I have found that for me, i need to control diet. But every woman is different in this phase of their life. This phase is all about hormones unfortunately andcthose are ugly to control.

  2. Hey there DH! and thank you for your response. Yea, they say the carb up will really inflate the muscles, i'm stoked to see it and feel it LOL.

Yes!!!! Carb up is in the plans for me this week, instructed as per my coach. Starting on Thurs, we remove all the veggies, and add a 1/2 cup cooked white rice to every meal (3 meals currently). Same thing for Friday. I'm super excited for that! Then on Sat, 2 whole eggs and 1/2 cup white rice in the morning. 30 mins before stepping on stage, a 1/2 candy bar. Prejudging is at 9am. 2 more meals during the day of 2oz chicken breasts and 4oz sweet potatoes.

Yesterday started with 2 gals water/day. Whoa...i'm drowning lol.

  3. Hi there.

As of this writing, next week is peak week for me.

I'm currently sitting at 130#; 14% bodyfat as of 3/3. Will get my bf tested this weekend.

Prep is going great, but like I said before i'm middle aged (48 yrs young), and now have some loose skin on abs and glute area. I feel as though possibly it will go away in the ab area with the water pill, but with regards to the glutes, i'm afraid this will be my weakest area. But then again, i'm a novice and what do i know.

The toughest part of this prep has been last week and this week. My mind is really messing with me.

I've gotten down to the leanest i've ever been in my life. So my body "looks" different in my eyes. So i'm dealing with some mental stuff with regards to that...body image, etc. As i've leaned out, the BIGGEST issue i have had is "where are my muscles?!! WTF!". With the layer of fats on muscle, I thought my muscles were bigger. So as i have leaned out, i am now exposing the muscles and they are smaller than what I imagine that they would be. This has been the biggest disappointment mentally to me, but i'm getting through it and it is part of the process.

i'm creating goals for me after the competition as well that will help with post comp depression, etc.

Just wanted to post mainly to see who is listening lol.

    Happy Lifting....

  4. Hi there, seen this thread and i'm a female using clen, so thought I would provide some feedback.....

I've been using oral Clen now for about 6 weeks, I use it Mon-Thurs only every week. Since I workout in the AM most days, i will take this compound right about 9aCST (after my workouts, do not take it prior to you workouts-well, again, my opinion lol). I use a 1ml oral syringe and just place it into the back of my mouth/tongue and swallow. I only use .1ml, i've never gone over .2ml. I was scared to death of this compound...because of the heart and what i've read up on this (fyi...i'm 48 yrs young....so of course i was worried lol). I can't wait to go off it and this week will be my last week running it.

I do limit my caffeine drinks to only 2 cups a day. For me, it is 2 cups of coffee in the AM. No more caffeine after that. This passed Sunday i did do 3 cups of coffee, but i was not on clen that day.

I suppose that this compound has given me an edge as to the fat loss and what i'm able to accomplish. But I am doing so many things right now to prep for a competition that not one thing could stand out on its own as to the reason why. I was able to lose a lot of fat on just a strict diet and workout regimen, no compounds.

    Good luck.

  5. Yes, i find the fitness community to be varied with experiences and therefore the gyms cater to one segment of those fitness populations. Some so called bigbox gyms try to get as many memberships as they can, to meet a number. Some don't even offer any personal training or personal attention in any way. Either through nutrition or training.

The serious lifters seem to flock together in a local community that usually has one or two gyms where these type of fitness people flock too. Depending upon the region/area/population of course.

There is no way that one type of gym can cater to all the different levels of fitness. I think fitness is a very important part of a person's life and should be there the entire time-throughout a life. Maybe certain gyms should cater to different populations, I don't know. But if I were a senior (geriatric), in a way I would want to be around some younger thangs, to feed off their energy.

I'm fortunate enough to be in a gym where there is a slight mix of ppl that just want be healthy, but majority are competitors in either bodybuilding or powerlifting.

  6. Good Thai! For any of our members that are in the FL area, I wish you the best of luck. I hope that Irma takes a quick turn and doesnt' even hit FL. I know that is not likely, but jeez the anticipated damage to FL as a result of this terrible storm is frightening.

I hope that the members here in Miami area have fled up north for a bit.

  7. You just don't know us very well yet.....

    We have our moments.. ;)

Mrhat: LOL...Well, that is true...on both accounts i suppose. But so far, my experience has been great.

  8. Hi Bigant92, I've had some experience once. I personally experienced the water weight gain at first as was warned, but i could not get passed that, so i stopped it. Shame, it was some good stuff (can't remember the name and don't have it any longer). I've known other girls on it, just depends on the goals of the girl.

  9. I made a general introduction in the main introduction of this board. But also wanted to do one for perhaps those females that may only look at this topic forum on this board (please no offense males..i love everyone).

47yo female, 170# (125# lean muscle). Goal is to do a bodybuilding show on 3/30/18 in STL MO, the Midwest i think is what it is called. I want to enter into the Women's Physique division as i have been told that I would do good there. I just have a lot of bodyfat to purge lol.

Currently at 30 weeks out (as of this writing), just met with my diet coach and he wants to do a 24 week prep. So I will officially start prep on 10/15/17. I also work out with a local trainer. I love this trainer! She really pushes me and knows how much I can take and do, more so than me---as any good trainer does of course.

I belong to a few boards out there, but one thing that is either taboo to discuss or hard to get honest answers on are the topic of female bodybuilding and PED's (performance enhancing drugs). Just the little things that can take you to the next level ;)

So I like these forums because you can be anonymous and honest at the same time.

I have some experiences with some compounds that i would be happy to share to help others. I know and realize that my experiences may be completely different from person to person. Everyone is different and their bodies react differently to different compounds. Totally get it, and it is sooooo true.

I certainly respect others and their contributions, so i'm presently looking at this forum and combing through all of the posts in past history. I also don't want to post a question that has been posted before. And the vets are like do your search LOL.

Anyway, happy to be here and thank you admin for adding me and most importantly approving me! LOL

    Happy Lifting...

  10. The best way to handle the forum rules, if you even think it might get under Navy's skin, POST IT. That's basically it.

    Good to have you.
