i would get a card for a teaching position in a university. my degree is in special education (with a specialty in autistic early intervention) and this type of degree is highly sough after. it would require dotting some 'i's and crossing some 't's but everything we do requires us to go through some kind of process.

Don't know about a cure for AIDS but I'm pretty sure the Gov would never let a cure for cancer be made public knowledge, simply because treating it is a multi-billion dollar per year industry.

Why would they?

If someone found a cure for cancer it will reduce drastically the cost of medicare and medicaid.

Also, it would still make tons of money in tax revenue from exporting the drugs.

The cure would need to pass FDA and tons of others would have their "hands" on it while being approved.

Thinking that the government can stop all this before it becomes public I find unrealistic.

I believe there is a cure for AIDS and based on the research and medicine from Dr. Burzynski cancer can be cured and has been but of course government and big pharma doesn't want people cured. They would go bankrupt and lose all power. Healthy people tend to fight the power (public enemy)

I am a Conservative and a Republican. There is absolutely NOTHING I like about Ron Paul. The Man has some of the most dangerous, left-wing ideas I have ever heard. If Paul were elected, World War III is a guarantee with Iran launching Nukes on Israel and the US to bring about Armageddon.

 

There was a difference with the US and the Soviet Union during the Nuclear Arms Race, during the Reagan era, concerning each Nation having Tens of thousands of nukes, enough nukes to blow up the entire planet something like 350 times, I believe. Neither Country wanted to end the world, and assure every one of its citizens died ......this ""Mutually Assured Self-Destruction"" was why the Soviet Union having nukes was never a REAL problem.....unlike Iran, the Soviets were not seeking a Global Caliphate in which one religion - Islam - is the only permissable religion, and the only viable fate for anyone who does not profess to be a Muslim is Death.

 

No, the Soviets were as terrified of launching nukes as much as the US was terrified of launching nukes....we both knew the World would come to an end instantly.

 

Iran....completely different. Once Iran obtains nuclear weapons in sufficient numbers, and once they obtain the technology to deliver these nuclear warheads to distant lands (ie US)......there is zero doubt in ANY experts' minds, that I have read about, that are experts in Global Terrorism / Islamic Radicalism / Shariah Law / and especially the Psyche and Ideology of the Iranian Government.....zero doubt the instant Iran has this capacity to plaunch numerous nuclear weapons to distant lands, Iran WILL LAUNCH their nuclear weapons. The result.....Judgement Day / Armageddon.
