  4. I've got a couple friends that eat edibles before a workout just to help them focus.

     

    I think they're lower dosed or something, but there's no fucking way I could workout high!

     

    Not only would I feel weak & slow, I'd forget what the fuck lift I was doing while also trying to drink 12 weight gainer shakes!

  5. Sorry guys I got wiped out hard with the flu. Then had a relapse. Multiple ER trips and I had to use 3 diff antibiotics b/c I had a virus and a bacterial infection. Finally got the right one and have been fine the past week. Just havent logged in in a while b/c I had so many emails to catch up on. Luckily my chemist and shippers are fine so all pending orders should have landed by now. Gms585 pm me your email b/c I've responded to all emails weeks ago so maybe Im not getting yours. Thanks guys. Down 18lbs but got about 1/2 of it back from Taco Bell and Thanksgiving ;)

     

    Communicated with dictator a few days ago and he's on the mend.

     

    Now that he's feeling better, he's been following up with any the delays caused by his flu run and as he's said before, he's private at this point, which should be seen as a good thing since staying private is better for everyone's security & longevity. :cool:

  6. Quick update guys. My old computer took a shit which I knew was coming any day.

     

    Got my new one set up finally, which took me about two days. Couldn't get my VPN working properly so I couldn't get online.

     

    Also, got a damn sinus infection now. Great week so far.

     

    Happy Halloween to everyone and their kids. Hope you all have a good one. I know I'm a little behind, but we will run some type of sale here in the next few days to make up for it.

  7. There's a cop on that show Live PD that I would guess is using aas and reminds me of Ronnie. He's a big dude and usually doesn't have anyone talk back to him like the other normal size cops do on the show.

  9. I've always had the best results with hitting cardio right away on the morning vs later in the day. Totally hear you on the preference to HIIT cardio instead of low intensity cardio just on the time savings alone.

    Obviously diet's huge part, but in my experience, the most effective and typically the quickest way to seeing results is to hit the cardio when the suns just coming up.:cool:

  10. Totally can relate to shoulder issues and surgical repairs. I had a fairly involved shoulder surgery about a month ago and I'm just now getting back into my cardio and gym routine.

     

    The anesthesia reaction and heart issue you had would freak me the hell out, but at least you were able to address it while also getting the reassurance from the doc that gear wasn't a factor.

     

    Despite everything you went through, are you still looking to get your shoulder repaired at some point?

  11. I literally walk from equipment to equipment while on my phone. I occupy that piece for at least 10 minutes while on my phone and then walk to another piece, never looking up from my phone so I bump into all kinds of people mid-rep, and then sit down on another piece for another 10 minutes or so. I do this over the course of 3 or four hours during peak times.

    The two things that will set me off in the gym and cause me to break out of my "lifting trance" are:

    One, dumb fucks that never put their weights back after the finish with equipment and two, little dipshits that take up time on equipment while half-assed lifting as they constantly update Facebook, etc!:mad:

     

    I'm polite & respectful in the gym, but situations like you're describing GK make me want to hip check these little fuckers like 9th graders do to the 7th graders during the first week of junior high! Lol

  12. Unfortunately Myo, as the others here have said, if it is a hernia, then surgery is the only real long-term option! :(

     

    About 14yrs ago I had bilateral hernia surgery done on two hernia's in my rectus abdominus (in lower abs about 2in below belt line) that were completely symmetrical in both locations.

    The annoying part is that the doc told me that regardless of how strong my core was including my abdominals, a hernia in that area isn't really preventable regardless of lifting technique, belts, etc.

     

    Surgery was day surgery and recovery the first couple days was tough due to the trauma to the abdominal region.

    Not trying to cause worry and just trying to be honest bro, probably plan on sleeping in the fetal position or on your back with your legs resting on a stack of pillows as if you were sitting in a chair. It's because that initially post-surgery, any pulling or stretching in the trauma area def doesn't feel good and it was the only way I was able to sleep!

    On the plus side, the doc repaired the hernia's using fiber mesh patches which look almost like drywall patch kits and as your muscles heal, the muscle fibers actually grow and weave into the mesh itself thereby making the repair even stronger than if they were to just have sewed the muscle back together.

     

    Ultimately, hernia's def can't be ignored, especially with our lifting lifestyles so as frustrating as it is, get it taken care of now while it's a minor issue! :cool:

    While there's the obvious and annoying negative media attention that'll come with this story, our society has made it seem like a bad thing for law enforcement officers to be physically stronger and enhanced with the intent of better serving the public's safety. To make it even more disgusting, I saw a clip of a legitimate TV show titled "Fat Cops" in which they make it seem funny that the police featured in the show are extremely overweight to the point where they can barely do their jobs. Now while I think it's a total waste of time for police to worry about people using gear for their own personal goals, I'd much rather have our military personnel, cops and firemen physically jacked so that they can carry someone my size without an issue instead of me having to carry them! :p

  13. So its been 8 weeks since my surgery. I have been in rehab and I have my mobility back in my arm. My pain is completely gone, im now sleeping in my bed without a problem... and today I saw my ortho surgeon( john zvijac) and I can now start putting weight (very minimal) on my shoulders with high reps under supervision from my therapist.... looks like ill be ready for gym come january.

     

    I went through shoulder surgery a couple years ago that included a bone-graph with three screws on my humerus head plus a tack to reattach the front rotator cuff tendon. All I can say is def take the slow and steady approach as wallyd said because once the post surgery pain is gone, it's very easy to overdue it and risk re-injury. Sounds like the recovery is going well so far though so keep it rolling and good luck the rest of the way bro! :cool:

  14. When I'm blasting I run 900-1200mg per week. Never had any negative sides besides RBC being a little elevated, but nothing serious. It's a whole new drug when you reach those doses though. I love some EQ. Definitely one of my favorites, if not my favorite.

     

    Totally agree with ya Brodel! When I'm blastingthru my cycles, :p I def love running it at little higher doses too. I've topped out at 750mg as that's been the dose that's treated me the best and with the ligament/tendon help and then throw in the increased hunger, muscle endurance and vascularity, EQ is easily my favorite hands-down! :cool:

  16. I dunno about the numbers, but its what Bill Kazmaier credits with becoming the strongest man in the world. Everyone chose to listen to Weider instead though...their loss.

     

    Alright Raddad, we get that you are a Kazmaier fan, but he is more of an exception rather than someone to use as an example. If you were to ask any trainer/strongest man competitor/athlete, they'll agree that hitting more of the full range of motion is much more beneficial to overall strength and endurance than just working portions of the ROM. Lifting with a limited ROM has it's place in bodybuilding or in your case bro where you have injury issues and are limited to what you can do. In general, by limiting your ROM as you described, this can potentially cause more harm than good by not strengthening your ligaments and tendons fully due to the fact they are not being used evenly throughout muscle contraction. In your situation Raddad, limiting ROM is necessary, but when I see it and even more specifically, the reason I started this post, the guys that typically do this are lifting more than they can handle in hopes of looking stronger or impressing someone or attracting attention...all of which are extremely annoying. :agreed:

  17. Bro its funny you say this. There was a cat in the gym screaming so loud that I came from another room to see this lift he was doing. I get in there and this fucker has 65 lb dumbells doing shrugs. Just the looks on people faces was prices. I started to report the dude.

     

    Haha, these are another group of tools that I can't stand. As far as I'm concerned, you shouldn't really ever need to grunt and scream like you're being killed, but if you do need to do that to pump out another rep, you damn well better be moving some serious weight...like leg pressing over 1000lbs or benching over 300lbs. Skinny grunters always annoy the hell out of me...wonder if I just need to lower my test dose. :g: LOL
