  1. TP delivers to all zips domestic and international..

I recall a time when TP had some sort of "vetting process" where you had to get referrals, jump through a bunch of other hoops, and wait like months before you were approved to order. Is he still doing that?

  2. Been scratching my head wondering how you should begin in the face of the cynical attitude that abounds here. That attitude is the only logical reaction to a number of other sources who have come and gone here, just in the last year or two, btw. Only idea I could come up with was to have an Intro Sale, but that right there gets people's antennae up.

This idea seems much better .... might even trigger counter ideas from some members here.

Agreed. At least he is making an effort. Nobody is even attempting to be productive and offer what he could do to earn their trust, choosing instead to insult and complain.

It's clear the Staff is not going to vet sources, so that is not a solution. And to be honest, if I were them, I wouldn't want that task. That's a bunch of work with what reward??? Even if they did, when a source eventually happened to slip through the vetting or was good for a while and turned scammer...which is just a matter of time no matter how thorough the process...guess what? The members would turn and direct their hatred and vitriol toward the Staff.

There is no perfect process. Let's either find some productive suggestions to improve the process or shut up and accept the limitations/risks of the process as is.

  3. Coinbase is what I ultimately went with after investigating a number of options. Interface is clean and simple. Love the ability to use Google authenticator on my phone as a second security measure to approve buys/sells.

As long as it's spending money you put in BTC, it's kind of fun to watch the value fluctuate on a daily and monthly basis. Just look at that rolling 1M chart! Like a rollercoaster. WHEEEEeeeeeeeeeee

  4. Interesting post, TE! Evan's takes are always intelligent - I appreciate that he takes the time to explain his reasoning whether he's talking training, diet, health, or anything else.

This list is very close to my own stack, except I had not heard of benfotiamine. I'm also a believer in iodine and selenium. I don't use a multi daily, as I use selected supplements to cover the gaps I know my diet doesn't adequately cover. Many multis have some terribly formulated ratios...and between food and a multi, it can be easy to lose track of just how much you are consuming.

  5. Many who have advisors have unqualified ones (they simply trust friends or family to manage their money). They don't understand the importance of good advice and aren't willing to pay for it - this is no different than the majority of middle and upper-middle class as well.

There are still others who are mismanaging their money and - so far - have been able to get away with it (ie, Mayweather keeps all his money in the bank accruing nominal interest rather than investing it).

Part of this is fundamental flaw in our education system, which doesn't bother to teach basics of tax law, investments, financial management and rather fixates on topics like mitochondria and 14th century lit. But even if someone were educated in those basics, it wouldn't guarantee ability to manage money the way it should be. Bottom line is that someone with that amount of wealth needs an entire team of advisors, not just one - if, that is, they care about both protecting and growing their wealth.

  6. What I am about to suggest to K on our next golf date is that every member from Supremely Exalted VIP on down through the Boring VIP's and eventually to we in the common rabble group be required to pm GK for approval in 1000 words or more and await his decision. With the right to 3 appeals via the same process of course.

To ensure GK has read each appeal thoroughly, he shall recite it verbally from memory in front of the mirror, mouthing the words into Clitz' girl's buttplug like a microphone.

  7. Good point rd. I'm sure in cases such as MIA exceptions can be made

While I certainly wouldn't refuse an exception (:o), I also recognize exceptions could quickly become a headache for mods...all sorts of people would start crying to them to be treated like a special case and unless the rules for exceptions were crystal clear and not open to any interpretation, I'd bet there would also bitching about mods showing favoritism to certain members, etc.

I just wanted to offer a different perspective to consider, but I can still understand the reasons for the changes (if they are indeed enforced). I think the requirements are - all in all - pretty reasonable. Also, while I believe all of the reasons above for my not posting frequently are valid, I also have to take some responsibility. I'd be willing to bet with a little more effort I could have found 1-2 threads per week over the past few years I could have offered a meaningful contribution. Knowing the breadth and depth of accomplishments of senior members on this board, I often browse through threads with a massive inferiority complex, wondering what I could possibly offer over and above what already has been...but anyway now I really sound like a little bitch and there is NO excuse for that...

Tl;dr - Whatever the decision, this is still the best (and best mod-ed) forum around.

[Also, I've had S' contact info for years...so even if I takes me a while to get back to all the sponsors, I'll be a-ok]

  8. First, let me say I've got the utmost respect for this board and its members. I log on at least a couple times a week to lurk for both the content and entertainment, and this site always delivers on both. I'd also hope no one on this board or any other I am a member of could accuse me of disrespect. The decisions you make as mods are yours to make, but I did want to point out a few reasons why post counts are problematic.

For me, I've educated myself well enough over the years that I don't have many questions, and those that do pop up I can usually answer with a quick search - so question posts are largely out. And I'm admittedly not on here daily nor am I anywhere near elite-level, so noob questions that get asked are inevitably answered faster and/or better by another member than I could. Lastly, I just tend to think it wise to stay relatively low-key given the topics discussed on this forum are often (depending on where you live) legally...uh...questionable...

The thing I appreciate most about this forum is I almost never see "bad" advice being given - unlike a number of other forums. I put that down to the fact generally the members posting the most also happen to be the ones with the longest tenure (and experience). Incentives for posts may cause a lot of dumb questions or - IMO far worse - bad advice.

  9. Anyone who openly discusses this type of stuff in public is a ticking risk time bomb.

That said, shouldn't the sponsors have ultimate say as to whether the section is restricted? I'd think some would prefer to be open to all and to maximize their revenues. I'm sure they all have their ways to manage risk already. Some - like Strang recently - have started to weed out those who are risky by requiring referrals for new customers.

  10. You can make a decent living here. There is no state income tax out of your check, property taxes are cheaper and compared to the northeast the houses are cheaper and if you look around you can find some good deals. I ll never go back lmao

    ^^^

I lived in a "suburb" just outside of Miami for a few years and I'm hoping to get back sooner rather than later. I can't speak to wage comparison, because I'm sure it varies greatly depending on what industry you are in and what type of demand there is for those type of workers...but the cost of living isn't any worse than any major city. Like MEATHEAD said, the lack of state income tax is a major plus.

After you've sat poolside in December in board shorts and a tank, smoking a cigar and basking in the sunlight, it's tough to leave.

  11. I think I might skip T3 and look at clen with ECA. I've don't keto but it's so damn hard to keep going

My man, take it one step at a time. If you start both, you'll have no idea what's working and what's not. Not to mention the fact stacking ECA with clen is going to put a whole hell of a lot of stress on your cardiac system.

In terms of safety and efficacy, ECA is tops and I'd recommend you start there - and the "A" isn't really necessary. Give that a try for a good 3-4 weeks at least. I think you'll be pleased. Unlike the others, it slightly increases RMR and decreases appetite.

Some guys cycle between ECA and clen, because clen seems to diminish in effectiveness after approx 2 weeks and it'll take about another 2 weeks for beta receptors to fully up-regulate again. I've always preferred ECA to clen - the latter always made me feel like my heart was beating out of my chest. ECA just gave me some mild jitters, but also kept energy and focus up inside and outside of the gym and suppressed my appetite (making dieting on less easier).

T3/T4 is probably the best bang for buck to increase RMR, but it won't affect appetite so you'll be hungry OFTEN. It's effects on metabolism are such that if you're not running AAS, I would not recommend it - that's a good way to lose a lot of strength and muscle very quickly.

  12. I do that Super Squat Hip-Sequence before every leg day religiously. It's amazing the difference in depth and external rotation you see after just a couple minutes of that mobility work.

Kelly's "Supple Leopard" is a fantastic book and I'd recommend it to anyone. Its step-by-step sequencing for the big 3 lifts (squat, deadlift, bench/pushup) really changed the way I approach and cue those lifts. He finds every way possible to get you to maximize your own torque and mechanical advantages to move more weight with more stability.

  13. If you try to use an actual educational nutrition book vs anything for bodybuilders you will run into so many conflicting ideas.

No educational nutrition book recommends intakes of 1gram of protein/lb. Not one, infact it's much closer to .5g/1lb. I can get specifics if you'd like.

There still may be some useful insights. Jeet Kune Do my friend!

More a psychological/physiological study than a nutritional "how-to", I thought The End of Overeating was an incredibly entertaining read. Especially the chapters about taste "engineering" in the modern food industry.

  14. I have seen IM have a go at many sources, not just Strango. His agenda is keeping sources in line.

Ah, so how do you keep someone in line if you can't show they strayed from it to begin with?

And who gets to keep him in line when he makes a wild accusation and subsequently fails to produce any hard proof to back it up?

    These aren't rhetorical.

    Genuinely curious.

  15. Addendum 6 to rule 312 Clearly states that if you touch another man's penis whether you are erect or not you are gay.

And Caveat 9 to Addendum 6 Clearly states that Addendum 6 does NOT apply in the following settings where inadvertent contact is highly possible: locker rooms and/or those air bounce castles you see at children's parties.

  16. Is he trying to set up a company as a vendor of existing brands/products or create his own line?

Like everyone said, at this point it's gonna be really tough to differentiate or compete against the existing brands in the regular categories (pre-workout, fat burner, creatine, protein, etc). I'd encourage him to try to target a smaller sub-market in the supp industry, carve out a unique niche, and focus on nailing just a few products first that appeal to the target market. Ideally it's a market he's a member of himself, so he understands what they want and how they think.

If it were me, it'd be something like an injectable curcumin or liposomal glutathione - using unique methods of delivery that improve bioavailability of promising health/wellness supplements.
